DESCRIPTION:TUESDAY\, July 11\, 2023\, IS A BIG DAY FOR THE ARTS IN SPRINGF
 IELD!! \n\nThe Springfield Community Band announces that that evening’s 
 Children’s Concert will be the venue for the first-ever collaboration be
 tween the band and dancers from The Dance Factory in Springfield. The two 
 groups will perform together to present Prokofiev’s well-loved story of 
 Peter and the Wolf. \n\nNick Pelton will conduct the concert\, which will
  take place at 7:00 p.m. at The Common (a park in Springfield located opp
 osite the cemetery on Cherry Hill (formerly Summer Hill St.) Ashley Hensel
 -Browning created the choreography for the dancers. \n\nThe band urges ev
 eryone (kids and adults) to come dressed in their PAJAMAS and be ready f
 or fun!!! The kids will gather to dance the Hokey Pokey\, and those childr
 en who wish to do so will have the chance to conduct the band.\n\n As alw
 ays\, there will be FREE ICE CREAM for all.\n\n THIS CONCERT IS ALWAYS FU
